Day 4 - In San Antonio All Day
Today we had the opportunity to sleep in and play tourist. No motorcycle riding. Bill and Steve and I hopped on the Trolley and went downtown to tour the Alamo while Lane stayed in the hotel room telecommuting to secure us hotel reservations for the next two nights in New Iberia and New Orleans, LA. He has seen the Alamo several times. You may recall that New Iberia is the home of world famous Tabasco Sauce. We plan to tour the factory during our stay. At lunchtime, Lane met us downtown and we all had lunch on the Riverwalk at the County Line BBQ restaurant. We highly recommend it. We walked off our lunch by walking along the Riverwalk and back to our hotel.
At 7:30 we went to the Sky Tower of the Americas Chart House (revolving) restaurant for supper. The Sky Tower is the second highest one in the US right between the Stratosphere Tower in Las Vegas, NV, and the Space needle in Seattle, WA. It rotates 360 degrees in one hour giving everyone a spectacular view of the city and surrounding areas. Bill's daughter Stacie joined us for supper. She is here in San Antonio attending a training session for her company. Thank you for joining us Stacie; we enjoyed your company. As the day was wearing on and we had scheduled an early morning departure, we opted for a trolley ride back to hotel and called it a night.
Tomorrow we will meet Tim & Sylvia and Bob at Cowboy Harley Davidson in Beaumont, TX.
Until then, I wish you all well.
John and the usual suspects.

Wish I could have joined you at the Almo, but I'm glad I was able to meet up for dinner at The Chart House! It was nice to finally meet everyone!
